QUOTE OF THE DAY: "I APOLOGIZE."--TIGER WOODS
Poor Tiger. He got caught. Everyone who gets caught in cheating is ashamed, and rightfully so. That person did something wrong. |A heartfelt apology is something almost all people would accept. It's the sincerity behind it that must be obvious. The tone of voice and body language are monitored and evaluated. The words can be spoken, but can still feel empty to the listener. No matter how much the guilty party will say they are sincere, the discerning listener knows. He just knows. Something inside of him says that did not feel right to me. That was not honest.
In Tiger's case, his body language was stiff, not warming. His words were static. He seemed so detached. I know he did not want to appear terribly emotional, but to show none was inappropriaste. Everyone of us knew it did not come from his heart. Words mean nothing, or very little to a broken-hearted wife and a shattered family.
