How long, how long...woman, will you weep?

The Eagles--Supergroup
Their new album from about a year ago has really grown on me. Songs like "How Long?" have won my heart. It's kind of like an anthem for me to continue moving on.

I'm in the process of forgiving myself. I believe I have accepted God's forgiveness for my errors of the past and I am once again whole and pursuing Him with my whole heart!

I love you, Father. Thank you for teaching me your grace and mercy. I promise to extend more mercy to the needy.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy."
(Matthew 5:7)

As an eagle of God's I shall rise up to walk in the Spirit. Bless my soul!

Is Your Forgiveness for Real???????????????????

QUOTE OF THE DAY: "Are apologies ever enough? [Is love ever enough?]"--Some chick who posted on Soul Pancake!!

2x2Equals4Apples (the blog for apologies and forgivenesses.)Post yours, please. It's alright, J, I don't bite, but it hurts when I am lied to. It should hurt you, too, to be at this moment lied to. Plus, I was very sick, then, when I flipped. I hope one day we can apologize to one another and follow that up with mutual forgiveness. We have both been wrong, and I got very hurt.

Thank you, David Letterman for Your Apology

QUOTE OF THE DAY: "From dust you came and back to dust you will return. "--

Thank you, David Letterman for Your Apology,

At least there is a piece of news directly applicable to the heart of this blog. Apparently, Mr. Letterman had affairs with his office staff, either before or since his recent marriage. It was discovered in a co-worker's diary unearthed by the woman's boyfriend.
Well, David apologized in an international venue on his popular talk show. So, he has to be sincere, right? Well, you be the judge. I do not think we need to beat a dead horse.

Ante Up

QUOTE OF THE DAY: "For us, the critical issuue is our responsiveness to [the] moving of the Holy Spirit."
-- Richard J. Foster

I had this mortifying experience today. I wrongfully accused someone I love of saying something she never said. My Aunt Carol and I talked at length tonight about our current activities. Then I had to get something off my chest. I had remembered her telling me that I was not held as a baby. For some reason it seemed very clear to me.
When I brought it up, she said she would never have said anything like that and that she wasn't even around when I was a baby. Must have been a dream.
I thought this for years! It caused me to doubt that my parents loved me. Very hard to deal with--actually, a really awful thing. Anyway, I have been on this journey of forgiveness, and I hurt my folks with more than they should have had to deal.
Boy, I could feel so rotten. You know, it's a good thing I have God to talk to about it, cuz you know, in my mind right now, there couldn't be anything worse that happened today. I am so heartfelt about being sorry, Carol. I love you very much. Thank you for your ready forgiveness. You are a wonderful lady.
My parents have forgiven me already. Our relationship is getting sweeter all the time, now that they're getting older, time is precious. My mom told me tonight that either we die or we go to Heaven [with Jesus]. I am so proud of her for that!!! Words can hardly express!!!!
If people can forgive so easily, how much more will our Heavenly Father forgive us? Every time, but do NOT take advantage of that in a bad way, like doing the wrong things just to get forgiveness.Start wanting to stop making mistakes! A-men!!!!!

Wilson vs. Obama?

QUOTE OF THE DAY: "To err is human, To forgive, divine"

'Riddle me this, Batman'. When someone apologizes, is it fair to ask them to apologize AGAIN? Apparently, the forgiveness was not made upon the first apology. Am I making sense here? In politics these days, Rep. Joe Wilson is in the spotlight for a public outburst towards President Obama. Absolutely shocking and gauche. Wilson apologized; Obama accepted. But other people will still not let this go.

Politics, YUCK!!

GET OVER IT ALREADY!!! Our gracious President has.
