QUOTE OF THE DAY: "...And love may grow for all we know."--The Carpenters
Goin' to a party for the worship team members from church. That should be so fun. Last year I had a date, but this year I do not need one to have entree to the fun. I am bringing the bread.
Just got back from the get-together. We sang worship songs in harmony--ooohh, soooo beautiful. The food was all great and prepared with love. Then the games were a blast.
A great time was had by all. Thank you, John and Laura

QUOTE OF THE DAY: " Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Which was, and is, and is to come." (Revelation 5:8b, KJV))
This has been a hectic week, kinda stressful. I'm yet working on my assignment due Sunday on the subject of the Book of Revelation and its referencing of the Scroll and the 144,000. It is especially challenging because I know absolutely NOTHING about it!! Frustration, and all other kinds of negative emotions are tryng to plague me. I fight back with tenacity and plugging away with my research. It is a good challenge through which I am learning to give God all the glory. He will see me through. And I will be glad for this week to be over. Then next week will be a new subject in Revelation. I will probably not know anything about IT either.
Tonight's special worship service was a wonderful blessing I will carry with me for a long time. It was especially sweet to reflect on some of the scripture references in Revelation I have been learning put to song. Prayer was super hot. Ya know you take you with you wherever you go. I guess I just needed to focus on something else, and the best thing to do is worship God. He is the ultimate healer.
