IT'S REALLY A SHAME THAT PEOPLE LIE ABOUT WHOM GOD IS. GOD NEEDS NO DEFENSE, THOUGH. THOSE OF US/THEM WHO HAVE THIS PROBLEM LIVE LIVES OF LIES WE/THEY DO NOT EVEN RECOGNIZE. THE BIBLE SAYS THESE PEOPLE WILL NOT BE WELCOME INTO HEAVEN BECAUSE THEY DID NOT HAVE A HEART TOWARDS GOD TO BE KNOWN OF HIM AND OTHERS. IT IS A SERIOUS OFFENSE. LET US PLEASE TELL HIM WE ARE SORRY-IT ISN'T OUR FAULT THIS HAPPENED. HE WILL ABSOLUTELY FORGIVE US FOR ANYTHING WE'VE DONE, THINGS KNOWN BY US OR NOT.

There is such a temptation when there is unforgiveness shrouded in bitterness and rage to repay with one's own wrath. The Bible says of God that vengeance is His alone. When I have tried to position myself to turn my personal wrath on others, it turns on me and it bites me in the patookus. Yes, I said patookus--arse, butt, behind, hind quarters, bum, dupa--you know the drill.

NO WORDS CAN DESCRIBE GOD FULLY. EVEN THE BIBLE, THE BOOK THAT HAS BEEN WRITTEN FOR US TO KNOW GOD INTIMATELY CAN NEVER BE EXHAUSTED IN MANY LIFETIMES. THERE IS MORE INFO THAN A HUMAN BEING CAN HANDLE. ACCORDING TO SCRIPTURE, EVEN THE ANGELS DO NOT KNOW EVERYTHING.

MONDAY, THE TRUTH PROJECT CLASS KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE BALLPARK WITH SHOWING A GLIMPSE OF THE STARK CONTRAST BETWEEN WHO GOD IS AND WHO MAN IS. THERER IS NO COMPARISON WORTHY OF THE TWO AS COMPARISONS GO; HOWEVER, THE CONTRAST BETWEEN THE TWO IS GOD'S SUPREMACY AND PERFECT PERFECTION AND MAN'S DEEPEST NEED FOR GOD. WE ARE SO EMPTY THAT WE NEED GOD TO FILL US. EVEN TO BREATHE.
