QUOTE OF THE DAY: "It's been a long day's night"--The Beatles
Another wonderful evening of the Truth Project with Dr. Del Tackett. We discussed "Community" with an emphasis on who is our neighbor? and what is our responsibility towards people if we want to have God's heart for them? This one resonated with everyone.

If you ask me, the latest woman on Tiger Woods' arm has an appropriate last name for her first name. Just call me biased. In any case, here's a webpage for Tiger's apology to his wife. OK, then!
Would love to hear more of those this direction! But, alas, they have all forsaken me. (Picture me with my hand on my forehead!)

By now this does not even make sense to me. I am extremely tired. Good night, Sweet Prince!

Another Productive Day--Thank You My Dear Friends

QUOTE OF THE DAY:
"Praise His name,
Claim His power,
Praise His name
In this day and time
And in this hour" -- Neufeld (2009)

I ran into my friend Beth G. today. Her energy is contagious. I carried it with me throughout the day. With this motivation I accomplished more today than on other days. Unfortunately, there was little to do and it was still a bad-weather day.

Earlier that morning my friend Molly and I literally "made beautiful music together". What this incredible lady did with the simple lyrics I penned and basic melody made me cry. In one hour we made so much progress. The generosity of my wonderful friend overwhelmed me with gratitude. It was during this one hour period that I experience such sweet joy in creativity.

I think the critical key for us was the praying we did beforehand to give God all the glory and to ask Him to allow our gifts to flow along with His will. We also prayed for Jane, Molly's little one who had just been diagnosed with two nasty ear infections; for a baby, this is particularly painful and confusing. I know her parents are teaching her to have great strength in endurance and that she will turn out to be as amazing as the rest of the family members.

The day became complete as I sat through another session of "The Truth Project". Tonight's topic was "Philosophy and Ethics" and how there are lies within those two worldly systems that seep into people's thinking that are so subtle they are barely noticeable. Defeating these negatives is a full-time occupation which the devout Christian needs to take seriously to keep his life spiritually clean and productive. I am thankfully gaining understanding as God reveals His truths for my life.

THE TRUTHINESS OF TRUTH

QUOTE OF THE DAY:
"Do you really believe that what you believe is really real?"--Del Tackett

Tonight I had the privilege to join in with a small group of people from my church at Pastor Jim and Mary's home for our first session of "The Truth Project", an insightful and spiritually thought-provoking search for the truth as Jesus Christ says is truth. He states He is truth, the Word is truth, God is truth, the Spirit is truth. Wow! That was it for beginners. Faith is trusting that God is trustworthy enough to give up our fears for. It was a powerful hour with discussion following. It will challenge your understanding, if you allow God to work in your heart. And He will!! After all, no one can know it all. Or much for that matter.
