QUOTE OF THE DAY: "A word fitly spoken Is like apples of gold in pictures of silver."
(Proverbs 25:11, King James Version)
"A word aptly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver." (Proverbs 25:11, New Interenmational Version)
I have spent a lot of time in my life holding on to grudges towards people who had hurt me.
The problem was that I began developing health problems and my brain felt like it was going to explode with so much emotional build-up.
I began to learn that it is important to work at forgiving anyone who had hurt me, even if they were not asking for that forgiveness.
When I took that simple step in my life, my relationships ALL became sweeter and my physical body began experiencing healing. I have so much less pain from diagnosed fibromyalgia, and my feet and hips joints have healed significantly, where I can walk for greater distances than in my whole life.
I would love to hear from others their stories of forgiveness and apology.
This blog will be for that purpose. Share your stories and post your forgivenesses and your own apologies. Then consider sending flowers, gifts, or even candy? Or make a simple phone call--make it personal, anyway. Invest a little time--this helps to make your efforts more real.
I know it will be a tremendous spiritual healing for you, and when that happens, please share that blog here as well. I am expectant of good things for you.
