Fight or Flight? Which will you choose?

Have you ever been so afraid that you just gave up? Have you ever been so filled with fear that you
took a stand and fought back? This is called “fight or flight”. A famous United States President once
said, “Only Thing We Have to Fear Is Fear Itself” (Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s First Inaugural
Address (Jan. 1933)) At times one will choose one or the other of these two reactions in response
to fear. The Bible also tells us not to fear, but instead to trust God in numerous verses. One overall message in the Bible is to trust in God and have hope in the Savior Jesus Christ. This message follows from the beginning of man through eternity. Sometimes, while one is dreaming, certain images come to the minds that are confusing. All of a sudden one day, the dream may begin to make sense. This is how the Word of God can be. One will begin to understand it a little at a time. When the Word is composed of pictorial images the deciphering can be a little more complex. God will reveal parcels of His Word as the believer can receive it.
So, DO NOT give up, dear believer. God is at work!!
