QUOTE OF THE DAY: "SO IS MY WORD THAT GOES OUT FROM MY MOUTH: IT WILL NOT RETURN TO ME EMPTY, BUT WILL ACCOMPLISH WHAT I DESIRE AND ACHIEVE THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH I SENT IT." (ISAIAH 55:11, Life Application Study Bible, 1997, LASB)
There are just some days that no matter how good you want to feel, you will be hurting. Today was one of those such days for me. I felt crummy all over, and even after I got to church, I went back home. I could not eat a thing until I decided to go for ice cream at Cold Stone in the evening. I got cinnamon to help settle my stomach. Boy, is that an interesting ice cream flavor. Loved it, but I could only eat a little. I must have been craving dairy because I made some cream 0f asparagus soup later and some buttered saltine crackers.
I spoke to or e-mailed many of my friends to catch up, to see how God is blessing them.
No kidding, Shannon got healed at prayer group two weeks ago from lymph node cancer. She saw the doctor two days ago, and the cancer is all gone and the tumors, too, and the area is draining with a bit of an infection. I was blown away to be part of this miracle from God that day. She is a new believer, and her humility to God is an amazing example for me. She was made whole that day. So exciting to see that really happen. Just from hearing her story, I began to feel better. God's Word does not go out from His mouth and return empty. (Isaiah. 55:11)
