Are you kidding me?

Oh, by the way, Are you kidding me about these?:

QUOTES OF THE DAY:

The ability to be in the present moment is a major component of mental wellness.

A musician must make music, an artist must paint, a poet must write, if he is to be ultimately at peace with himself.

Dispassionate objectivity is itself a passion, for the real and for the truth. --

Abraham Maslow

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Please feel free to put emphases on any and every word in this question!!

Admittedly, each of the above statements holds a tiny bit of truth, but that is how lies take hold in our lives. They glom onto egotistical appeal, avarice, or other needs for approval, worldly success, and striving against others, then if there is any bit of truth in the statement, it becomes appealing as making sense.

We, as humans ALL fall into one or more of these categories, and probably all of them, if we are honest, in "search of ourselves"! Unless we focus our eyes on true truth, we will consistently and persistently meander in and out of "reality". Or think we are, anyway. "Hit or miss" supposed reality--what an existence!

"Truth" back in 1838 or so used to be defined in Webster's Dictionary as "that which is found in the [Biblical] Scriptures".

Wow! have things changed Now people feel "truth" is relative to how they perceive the world, meaning that there is no true truth, but only shades of it to fulfill their personal selfish needs and opinions.
